Accumulation of lipids in the liver with no alcoholic consumption leads to nonalcoholic fatty liver diseases (NAFLD). NAFLD spectrum ranges from a simple nonalcoholic fatty liver (steatosis) to steatohepatitis (NASH) and cirrhosis.
