View full abstract and other project information on NIH RePORTER Go To NIH RePORTER Excerpt: The goal of this application is to increase the efficacy of existing treatments for myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) and acute myeloid leukemia (AML) by identifying and characterizing RNA processing phenotypes that predict age-related disease progression and drug resistance. Current therapies for both of these devastating diseases are effective in only a small number of patients and predicting responses remains challenging. Improving response rates represents a substantial unmet need for Veterans.... |
