Background: Safe Patient Handling and Mobility (SPHM) consists of ergonomic techniques and equipment to move patients who cannot move independently. SPHM helps minimize adverse events (pressure ulcers, falls), and staff injuries. Despite benefits, we know little about how patients experience assisted mobility.
