Even early in the course, motor and cognitive dysfunction impairs instrumental activities of daily living (IADL). Non-motor symptoms due to fatigue, mood, sleep, and autonomic disorders further reduce quality of life (QoL). DTI shows progressive decline in brain tissue integrity.
