Mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) is the signature injury of the current military conflicts: Operation IraqiFreedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation New Dawn (OEF/OIF/OND). In Veterans of theseconflicts, mTBI commonly co-occurs with mental health disorders such as post-traumatic stress disorder(PTSD).
