The aging US population threatens to overwhelm our healthcare infrastructure, especially since the rateof Alzheimer's disease (AD) alone is expected to triple in the coming decades. This problem is compounded inthe VA Healthcare System, where over 40 percent of veterans are age 65 or older compared to 13 percentwithin the general population.
